Block work driveway

"I confirm that I requested JS Groundworks & Building Services to install a block paving driveway at my house.

We agreed a price, subject to my obtaining the block paving through my son from Jewsons, Builders Merchants.

On delivery of the materials, Jamie, one of the partners, expressed the view that the block paving was not the type ordered and he was reluctant to lay theses on the basis that the appearance would not be of standard that he expected. As a result, we called in the representative of the supplier, who agreed that the batch was substandard and would be replaced. His comment was 'Your builder obviously knows what he is doing' This became more apparent as the work progressed and the blocks were laid in a very pleasing pattern, which has improved significantly the drives condition.

The job was finished early November and my wife and I are very pleased at the difference this has made to the external appearance of the house. Our neighbour was equally impressed, to extend that, he has also had his driveway done.
